She Said Yes

I proposed to Drea on Sunday, January 4, 2015. I really wasn’t all that nervous. I was more concerned with moment going as planned. Trying to get Drea out of the house on this random Sunday was a challenge in itself. Every attempt to get her to go to the places I already had in mind was unsuccessful. Somehow I managed to get her to spend the morning at the beach with me. She even suggested that we bring champagne and orange juice to make mimosas, which of course it was perfect for what was to come. We started off our beach visit with some food and the drinks and once we were settled in I said to her “close your eyes, I picked up something for you at the store.” I know it was a little “cheesy” but I didn’t want her to see it coming. So as I stood there on one knee in front of all the other beach goers, I said “you can look know”. She was in total shock to see me in that position and could barely speak. I told her that I loved her and how much she meant to me and asked her “Will you marry me?” Still in shock she managed to accept my proposal and of course went straight to Facebook to let everyone what just happen. It meant so much to me to see Andrea so happy. It was a moment that I will never forget.
